Customized Authentic Necessities

Hello, My name is Cheryl Newton, and sewing has always been a part of my life.

As a young girl,  one of my memories was of my grandmother repairing clothes, she love pockets she added them to everything, shirts, pants and coats.  My mother made quilts, doll clothes, I always admired her because she sewed everything by hand.  All her own clothes and our clothes for school.

Join us for an evening of sewing, tea, coffee and chat in our Thursday social sewing club. Running on Thursday nights from 6:00 – 8:00pm.

Bring your own project to work on and get help and advice from our friendly and experienced sewing tutor.
You are welcome to use our sewing machines or bring your own. We have lots of space for cutting out projects too.

Please book in early to avoid disappointment.

Sewing club is ideal for anyone who has used a sewing machine before and has a project in mind. If you are brand new to sewing why not take one of our Sewing Machine 101 beginner’s classes (Saturday morning) to get you started!

I felt special when mother made me something because I know it would not be like anyone else.  We made doll clothes from the left over fabric she would give us.
